The Joy of Exterior Painting

The summers in Toronto are unpredictable and overall difficult for Toronto Painters to schedule.
Working outdoors can be uncomfortable for painters, especially in very hot and humid days.
There are days when any outdoor activity can be unhealthy. But when the weather is comfortable and predictable, working outside can be very enjoyable.
The pictures here are from two years ago, during the painting of a home in Weston Ontario.
The customer was great and hospitable, the weather nice and the painters enjoyed working there.

The actual painting project itself was very interesting.
There was a lot of preparation work being done before any paint brush was even touched.
The main areas were painted in a soft white and brown trim was used to highlight the small details.
An example of the almost cute detail is the trim painted on the exterior of the bird houses!
That is micro painting for hands of considerable skill!

Staining of the lattice over the back patio was time consuming and there were two painters working,
one painter on each side of it.

The thoughtful and subtle detail is evident on the painting of the storage shed at the back of the house.
