In the summer of 2009 the commercial painters of Ecopainting had a chance to paint the entire Choice in Health Clinic.
Choice in Health is a non profit community based abortion clinic operating since 1988 and run by women. 
The customer was careful in choosing warm, comfortable and positive colours. Benjamin Moore’s colours were used in Ecospec zero VOC paints.
All work had to be done after regular clinic hours and during the weekend. 
Most of our painters at the clinic were able to identify with the clinic’s woman-centred, pro-active approach.
One of the painters said that she was very proud to be painting for the clinic. 

The social activism focus of the clinic is evident from the posters and artwork on the walls.

One of the challenges nightly, was to start only the amount of work that would be finishable in one night.
Many of the rooms had to be used the following morning by the staff and the patients and paint had to be dry and without odour.
Some cleaning had to be done after the clinic’s cleaning staff left for the night.
The staff at the clinic were very accommodating and hospitable throughout the duration of the project.
